Squirrel Haven is a series of virtual chatrooms at Whilred.com. Whilred is a virtual chatroom service. It's free to join and the tech is server-side, meaning you do not have to download any programs to use it. The chat allows you to use an avatar to move around in virtual environments, called "Whirleds" (worlds) which are each made up of a room or suite of rooms.

I have "built" the Squirrel Haven Whirled using my own art for the backgrounds and some of the "furniture", and by "buying" other furniture (Whilred has a virtual currecy you earn by playing games and making things). Some of the things you will see inside Squirrel haven are interactive -- like you can "eat" some of the food in the kitchen, etc. There are also games to play, either by yourself or with other users. A few things to be aware of:

~ The chatroom is not locked. Therefore, not everyone you meet there will necessarily be a Squirrel or even a Stargate fan.

~ The chatroom is only moderated when I (WolfenM) myself happen to be around. Basically, use at your own risk.

~ I, WolfenM, do not own the service. Any problems you have should be directed to Whilred.com.
